Location
Surrounded by beautiful woods, on a high scarp of the Pilica River’s left bank, the town of Nowe Miasto with a population of 5000 is an ideal place to relax and unwind. Everyone will find something they like here. Puszcza Pilicka (the Pilica Forest) is the largest woodland complex in Central Poland. The total area of woods comprising it is 55 thousand hectares. It is the largest nature and vacation area for the agglomeration of this part of Poland. The recognition of its significance is being a part of ECONET (European Econet network is an attempt to create a hierarchal register of areas with the highest number of nature’s attributes on the scale of the continent).
After the launch in Domaniewice of a ferry across the Pilica River in August 2004, bike and tourist trail was built running along the river banks scarp. It is the first part of the road leading from Domaniewice to Nowe Miaso.
On the southern part of the hotel’s site are woods surrounding natural water reservoirs creating charming and breathtaking views rarely seen in this region of the country. The beautifully clear waters invite for a refreshing swim. The strip of the river in the Nowe Miasto area is particularly unique in this aspect - seldom can a river with such a clean crystal clear waters can be found in Central Poland.
In Nowe Miasto nad Pilicą run the crossing of major highways leading from Warsaw to Kielce, and from Tomaszów Mazowiecki, Łódź and Rawa Mazowiecka to Radom. The gmina [community] is covered with over 3600 hectares of woodland and crossed by two rivers, the Pilica and Drzewiczka.
